The objective is to replace the existing Skype for Business telephony system with a solution that ensures reliability, simplicity, and scalability across all municipal sites.
The desired platform must deliver consistent and reliable communication, streamline management, and support advanced features such as VoIP, collaboration tools, and integration with other business systems. Mandatory requirements include support for basic call operations (hold, transfer, conference), auto attendant functionality, voicemail (with voicemail-to-email), 5+ digit extensions, compatibility with existing paging systems, Direct Inward Dialing (DID), and call display.
