The Indiana government is seeking information from vendors regarding a scalable electronic permitting solution with end-to-end capabilities. The required Electronic Permitting Solution (EPS) should support the full lifecycle of permit management, including creation, intake, processing, approval, issuance, activity tracking, and right-of-way (RoW) access management for multiple permit types.
The desired architecture must be flexible and scalable, allowing for the seamless addition of new permit types or adjustments to workflows without significant redevelopment. Vendors are expected to provide a comprehensive bill of materials addressing all elements of solution delivery, such as licensing, discovery, design, development, deployment, testing, administration, training, and reporting.
The EPS should offer automated notifications, robust status tracking, application guidance, and user-friendly submission processes, as well as integrate with identity access management systems. Compatibility with leading reporting tools like Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Power BI, and Looker, as well as geospatial platforms such as ESRI and ArcGIS, is necessary. The solution should also accommodate both hosted and local databases, support ETL tools, and include RoW coordination and QA tracking components. Vendors are invited to submit their questions regarding this RFI by January 16, 2026.
