Permitted Advertising Services

The County seeks a vendor to provide permitted advertising services designed to supplement revenue from taxes and other funding sources that support County operations. The advertising program must be managed to generate the highest practical revenue while ensuring that all content remains suitable, does not discourage community participation, and maintains the County’s positive public reputation.

Permitted advertising includes two primary categories: Commercial Advertising, which is intended solely to promote or sell products, goods, or services; and Public Service Advertising, which features messages from government agencies, educational institutions, or non-profit organizations promoting community, cultural, educational, health, or public safety events and initiatives. Public Service Advertising must strictly avoid any commercial content or direct or indirect references to religious, political, or advocacy issues.

The selected vendor will be responsible for managing all aspects of the advertising program, maximizing revenue, and ensuring compliance with guidelines for appropriateness and community standards.
