The state of Illinois is seeking a vendor to deliver a comprehensive pension administration system (PAS). The selected vendor will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation, including rigorous hands-on testing to ensure the system's functionality, accuracy, and reliability. All aspects of testing must be structured, traceable, and aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include supporting agency and parallel testing through the execution of detailed test cases, validating system fixes, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring issues are resolved without introducing regressions. Testing activities will be managed and tracked through JIRA tickets, with test specifications and detailed steps documented in JIRA and Zephyr. The vendor will also assist business users during testing phases by executing test scripts, capturing results, logging issues, and providing real-time support for issue reproduction and clarification.
Ongoing duties include retesting resolved issues, confirming closure, maintaining accurate records of test results in Zephyr, and providing regular status updates on test progress and defect trends. All questions related to this opportunity must be submitted by January 21, 2026.
