DESCRIPTION

The government authority in Littleton, Colorado is seeking a vendor to design and implement a Peer Support Specialist (PSS) Pilot Program focused on preventing and reducing family homelessness within the tri-cities region. The program will conduct outreach at schools and community locations, coordinate with partner agencies, and offer culturally responsive, lived-experience-informed, non-clinical peer support.

Key elements include early engagement, stabilization planning, and navigation to housing and supportive services for immigrant families. The target population encompasses families at risk of eviction, living doubled-up, staying in temporary accommodations, or referred by schools and partner agencies. Services provided will include one-on-one peer support, stabilization planning, goal setting, resource navigation, follow-up, and assistance with accessing essential services.

The program also encompasses facilitating coordinated referrals and warm handoffs to housing and behavioral health resources, public benefits, and workforce programs. Peer support groups and culturally responsive workshops will be organized to promote stability, empowerment, and community connection. The vendor will assist families with applications, service access, and arranging transportation supports where available.
