The Department of Veterans Affairs, through Network Contracting Office 10, is preparing to release an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the 'Patient Privacy & Dignity Renovations' project at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center and related Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs). This construction project includes activities such as installation of cubicle curtain assemblies in multiple facilities, removal and replacement of doors and hardware across several buildings, and the removal of specialty HW R3 locks in Building 210. The scope also encompasses all necessary construction, demolition, infection control, safety, scheduling, coordination, and quality control measures required for work in an active medical environment.
Contractors will be required to strictly comply with the Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA), safety, badging/security, and historic preservation policies of the medical center. Multiple bid items and alternates exist to allow for phased or partial completion, each with defined performance periods. Electronic submission of bids, payment bonds, and performance bonds will be mandatory.
The solicitation is anticipated to be posted on SAM.gov on or about May 11, 2026, with proposals due approximately 30 days later. All interested parties must be Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) verified in VetCert at the time of bid submission and award. All procurement documents, including specifications and drawings, will be available only electronically.
