DESCRIPTION
The City seeks a vendor to deliver a comprehensive Parking Wayfinding Signage Plan, beginning with a full audit of existing parking signage. The scope includes evaluating the placement, visibility, condition, consistency, and messaging clarity of current signage, documenting findings through mapping and photographic analysis, and identifying gaps, redundancies, and conflicts in the current system.
The project will involve designing a user-centered, cohesive wayfinding system. This includes vehicular directional signage at key decision points to guide users to public parking and through downtown, destination signage with standardized messaging for public parking (including identification for oversized vehicles), and on-site information signage detailing enforcement hours, time limits, rates, and restrictions.
Deliverables will include documentation and mapping of the current system, detailed procurement documents for implementing the new signage plan, and cost estimates for phased implementation. The vendor is also expected to provide recommendations for the ongoing maintenance of the signage system.
