The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), through its Program Contracting Activity Central, is conducting market research for a minor construction project to expand the parking ramp at the Buffalo VA Medical Center. The planned project has a budget ceiling of approximately $24 million to $25 million.
Previously, this project was solicited but canceled due to proposals exceeding the available budget. The VA is now reconsidering project requirements, specifically the potential removal of the obligation for the general contractor to provide off-site construction impact parking. This research aims to identify capable sources, assess industry interest, and determine budget feasibility based on these updated considerations.
Interested parties are encouraged to provide input regarding their qualifications and capacity to undertake this expansion project within the defined budget. The Government emphasizes that no additional funds beyond the stipulated ceiling can be guaranteed.
