The government authority in Chicago, Illinois is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive parking management services. The selected contractor will be responsible for the phased deployment and management of parking revenue control systems, providing expert recommendations for equipment to be implemented during the transition and overseeing daily operations with existing equipment at both parking facilities.
Responsibilities include continuous audit and control of all revenue streams, including monitoring cash deposits, ticketing, permit sales, cashier reconciliation, and the maintenance and reconciliation of credit card reports to bank statements. The contractor will ensure that all deposited amounts match collected parking fees, including any applicable taxes. The successful vendor will establish a dedicated bank account for all receipts related to parking operations.
Accepted payment methods for permits will include checks and payroll deductions, while daily parking can be paid by cash or credit card. The contractor will also be responsible for maintaining detailed records of incident reports and parking violations. The contract will span a period of three years.
