Parking Lot Resurfacing and Striping Services

A government agency in Temple, TX is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to establish an annual contract for parking lot resurfacing and striping services. These services will be required on an as-needed basis at a variety of agency-managed locations, including buildings, parks, libraries, fire stations, and athletic complexes.

The selected contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, tools, materials, traffic control devices, and related services to complete parking lot resurfacing and striping projects throughout the year. Scope of work includes basic surface preparation such as cleaning or blowing off debris, power washing areas affected by oil and grime, sealing cracks with appropriate sealants, edge grinding or milling as necessary, and applying either an asphalt overlay or sealcoat to restore surface integrity. Additionally, accurate measurement and layout to ensure the resurfaced area matches site specifications is required.

Contractors are also expected to implement comprehensive traffic control and safety measures—including cones, barricades, and signage—to maintain safe work zones and minimize disruption. Proper curing time must be observed before reopening surfaces to public use. All associated costs—including labor, overhead, travel, mobilization, and administrative expenses—must be included in the proposed pricing, as no fees beyond the submitted proposal will be accepted.
