DESCRIPTION
A government authority in Greenfield, Massachusetts is seeking a vendor to provide parking lot renovation services. The scope of work includes supplying all necessary labor, equipment, materials, permits, and disposal fees for milling and repaving approximately 55,000 square feet of existing pavement area. The process requires the contractor to reclaim and grind the current asphalt and ensure proper disposal of materials.
Renovation work will be scheduled on weekends and nights to minimize disruption. Tasks also include milling down 2 inches of asphalt and making adjustments as necessary for smooth transitions with any existing concrete sidewalks, slabs, or aprons that are not part of reconstruction. The selected contractor will rebuild the tops of catch basins and structures using brick and block as needed, reset frames and adjust grades to meet the finish grade, and ensure the area is properly leveled to achieve effective drainage.
