The government authority in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking vendors to provide parking lot and road maintenance services. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in the community. Key aspects of the project include fleet vehicle electrification, installation of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, facilitation of home energy assessments, implementation of a land buy-back program, assistance in the construction of a renewable natural gas (RNG) plant, and enhancements to local soil management practices.
Preconstruction services are also required, with the agency collaborating closely with the selected project team. Responsibilities will include schedule and estimate development, program verification, schematic and design development, preparation of a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) proposal, subcontractor prequalification and bidding, construction documents preparation, constructability and plan reviews, permitting, budgeting, value engineering, and comprehensive preconstruction planning.
The contract will be for a period of one year, with opportunities for vendors to engage in a pre-bid meeting to discuss project requirements and expectations.
