Maryland is seeking a vendor to provide a comprehensive parking counting system designed to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience across its parking facilities. The desired solution must deliver real-time vehicle counts at the facility and garage levels, enable directional detection, and feature illuminated signage at garage entrances displaying current space availability and custom notifications such as 'Full,' 'Open,' or maintenance messages. These signs must be remotely configurable via a central system dashboard.
The system software should support scheduled automatic resets of counts at configured intervals (such as midnight), as well as detailed audit logs for system activity and data changes. Robust reporting capabilities are required, including the generation of daily, weekly, and monthly summaries, customizable filters for date ranges or specific garages, export options in CSV, Excel, or PDF formats, scheduled report deliveries, and dashboard visualizations such as graphs and heatmaps to aid in data analysis.
Additionally, the selected vendor must provide a turn-key solution with ongoing technical support and system updates. The contract period is for one year. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for January 7, 2026, and all vendor questions must be submitted by January 9, 2026.
