Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The City of Bristol, Tennessee is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive park master planning, design, engineering, and construction coordination services. The selected firm will support the development and enhancement of community park amenities, which include new construction or improvement of playgrounds, pavilions, shelters, trails, pathways, splash pad areas, seating and picnic facilities, landscaping, gardens, signage, safety and security features, lighting and fencing, parking, access points, and educational or nature-focused elements. Additional improvements cover restroom facilities, enhancements to the golf course driving range, nature center and observation decks, entertainment areas, and train ride features.
Services will also encompass specialized design for a nature center featuring an outdoor educational lab, exhibits, and wildlife observation areas, as well as the creation or enhancement of a park lodge with both indoor and outdoor meeting spaces, office facilities, a kitchen and serving station, scenic overlook, and outdoor gathering terrace. Furthermore, the project involves assessing and addressing trail infrastructure—identifying new trail needs, repairing and expanding existing routes, improving signage, accessibility, and safety, and implementing landscaping and erosion control measures.
A comprehensive site master plan will be developed to guide both current and future phases of the park. This includes generating preliminary design concepts, providing cost estimates, advancing design development, and preparing construction documentation. Site and infrastructure development services are required for parking, pedestrian access, utilities, landscaping, and stormwater management. Vendors are invited to submit any questions regarding the project by January 23, 2026.
