DESCRIPTION

The government authority in Michigan is seeking a qualified vendor to provide parenting time support services for families with open prevention services cases. The services will include supervised parenting time, allowing children to interact with their parents in a safe environment designed to promote positive relationships and healthy development. The vendor is expected to facilitate visits that help maintain the parent-child bond and support the practical application of parenting skills learned during intervention, unless directed otherwise by the court or specified in the service plan.

The contractor should foster the development of family relationships by empowering parents to take the lead, make appropriate choices, and establish routines that can transition to home life with their children. Additionally, the provider must submit written monthly client progress reports to the referring worker, addressing all specified reporting requirements.
