Maryland City Schools are seeking a qualified vendor to provide a proven, commercially available software platform for police overtime management. The chosen solution must support licensing by City Schools, allow robust configuration to meet specific requirements, and integrate seamlessly with current systems. The selected vendor will deliver software implementation, technical integration, comprehensive user training, and ongoing technical and user support.
Key objectives include streamlining the processes for requesting, approving, assigning, and tracking police overtime work, and providing secure, role-based user interfaces for all relevant stakeholders such as officers, supervisors, and administrators. The system must offer geolocation capabilities to track overtime assignments and support the ability for officers to view and accept assignments. Integration with existing enterprise systems, including UKG Ready for timekeeping (with geolocation data), Oracle Fusion for HR and payroll, and interoperability with other systems via REST APIs and web services, is required. Integration with the ADCIEO permit system may also be necessary for certain events.
The solution must feature comprehensive audit trails, a wide range of customizable reporting and analytics (with export and scheduling capabilities), and strict compliance with applicable laws and agency security requirements. Permissions and roles must be clearly defined for all positions involved in overtime management, ensuring that each user can only perform functions appropriate to their responsibilities. The contract for this project will be issued for one year.
