The government authority in Austin, Texas is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive maintenance and repair services for overhead doors and electronic gates. The selected vendor will be responsible for supplying all necessary safety equipment and ensuring that personnel adhere to all established safety policies and procedures during service delivery.
Key tasks include conducting annual driver license checks for staff commuting to agency locations, inspecting and evaluating gear boxes, chains, hinges, rollers, and welded connections for cracks, and ensuring proper door alignment and level. Additional responsibilities involve checking slats and end locks for damage, lubricating guides, bottom bars, and hoods, and assessing the condition of weather stripping, door sections, and tracks. The vendor will also inspect and adjust limit switches as needed.
