Vendors should propose a customer-operated tool capable of identifying opportunities to enhance clinical documentation and coded data accuracy, leveraging AI and automation to reduce manual workloads and cognitive fatigue for coding professionals.
The solution should feature automated audits, intelligent error detection, and robust capabilities for configuration, integration, onboarding, and compliance with security standards. In addition to assisting with and automating medical coding, the selected vendor will be responsible for supporting data migration and the transfer of legacy data into the new platform.
