DESCRIPTION
This request for proposals seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive outreach and education services, including organizing events and training sessions, conducting a food education landscape analysis with actionable recommendations, and delivering storytelling and communication services. Trainings for food producers will concentrate on climate-smart agricultural practices, food safety standards, and production methods relevant to the school food market. School trainings and resources will target improvement of best practices in school nutrition and food education.
The selected contractor will be responsible for managing event registration systems, utilizing event technology tools, facilitating introductions for outreach including both invitees and speakers, and handling recruitment and logistics for speakers. Additional duties include promotion and marketing efforts with partners, producing event materials (digital and print), capturing event photos, presentations, and recordings, and ensuring proper equipment and sound system setup. The contract is expected to last two years.
