The selected vendor will provide outdoor holiday lighting services, including the purchase and installation of commercial grade, weather-resistant LED lighting. All necessary labor, tools, lifts, equipment, and supplies must be provided by the vendor.
Vendors must communicate anticipated equipment needs, staging requirements, and an installation schedule in advance. During installation, a minimum 5-foot pedestrian clear zone must be maintained on sidewalks, with allowances for temporary sidewalk detours (but not routing pedestrians into the street) and temporary parking space closures as needed. Seasonal maintenance is required to ensure the lighting remains operational, including prompt responses to outages or safety concerns.
Proposals should include a detailed lighting plan outlining bulb types, colors, strand specifications, power requirements, and installation schedule. Insurance proof with required endorsements and confirmation of removal and site restoration must also be provided. The contract will be for a two-year term. All questions related to the RFP must be submitted by March 24, 2026.
