DESCRIPTION

The Missouri-based organization seeks a vendor to deliver a comprehensive solution for outdoor digital wayfinding and information kiosks across its campus. This project encompasses the design, fabrication, provisioning of software, and coordination of installation for outdoor digital kiosks. The kiosks are required to support both interactive wayfinding capabilities and non-interactive digital messaging.

The solution must include a turnkey package covering hardware supply, software compatibility, system configuration, and installation coordination alongside the zoo’s chosen electrical and network contractor. The system will feature five displays, with three offering interactive touch surfaces, each paired with a dedicated media player or an equivalent processing unit. Requirements include robust, outdoor-rated commercial displays suitable for continuous operation, high-brightness screens for direct sunlight, weather-resistant enclosures for permanent outdoor use, and integrated or compatible media players. All equipment must utilize touch technology designed for public use to ensure durability and accessibility.
