A South Carolina school district is seeking a qualified vendor to provide an Oracle-compatible Business Intelligence (BI) and reporting platform. While Oracle’s native tools address many core reporting needs, the district is considering third-party solutions to enhance its analytics, data visualization, legacy data access, and enterprise-wide decision-making capabilities.
The selected solution must deliver a consolidated reporting environment that integrates Oracle Fusion Cloud and legacy data from the district’s data warehouse. Key objectives include enabling secure, self-service analytics for functional teams with robust governance controls, reducing reliance on IT for routine reporting, and offering advanced visualization, dashboarding, and drill-down features. The system should support district-level and school-level reporting needs, including high-volume users, and provide compliant reporting across departments such as Finance, HR, Payroll, Budget, and Procurement.
Technical requirements call for full compatibility with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, HCM, and EPM; the ability to aggregate data from multiple sources (including REST APIs and the district’s future Oracle Cloud ADW-driven data warehouse); and a fully web-based interface requiring no local installations. The platform must feature a strong security model, including role-based access, SSO through ADFS, and audit trail capabilities, with preference given to solutions inheriting security from Oracle Fusion or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Vendors must also provide comprehensive implementation services, including project management, coordination with the district’s Oracle implementation project team, requirements workshops, and timely rollout aligned with the ongoing Oracle Implementation Project.
