The selected vendor will provide an online tutoring platform that supports university students with 24/7 access to academic assistance. The platform must offer tutoring across a variety of world languages—such as Spanish, French, Korean, Japanese, German, Italian, and American Sign Language—as well as STEM and other subjects, including mathematics, chemistry, physics, statistics, biology, and computer science.
Both on-demand and scheduled tutoring sessions must be available, with the option for students to schedule directly with specific tutors. Tutors are required to be qualified to support upper-division college coursework and to foster a positive, supportive, and non-judgmental learning environment.
The platform should feature a modern interface with virtual whiteboard and coding space for computer science tutoring. There should be mechanisms to review tutoring sessions for quality assurance and adherence to appropriate tutoring practices. Administrative tools must include dashboards to monitor activity, generate usage reports, analyze trends, and manage system use. Additionally, AI-assisted tutoring tools or chatbot functionality designed to guide students are desired.
The initial contract will be for one year. All questions regarding the RFP must be submitted by April 3, 2026.
