The client seeks a vendor to provide a commercial, web-based pharmaceutical reference database that is accessible online 24/7 for authorized staff. The solution should serve as a comprehensive, evidence-based point of care drug reference, offering current and clinically verified information on topics such as medication therapy, toxicology, drug interactions, disease management, alternative medicine, and patient education.
Vendors will be required to deliver subscription-based access, incorporating regular updates, technical support, user training, and usage reporting. The product must feature a unified search interface that allows simultaneous, advanced searches across medication, toxicology, disease management, and patient education resources. Additionally, the solution should include a transparent evidence and recommendation rating system to guide clinicians in assessing the quality and clarity of the medical literature.
The initial contract will cover a one-year period, and the chosen vendor must support up to 10 staff as authorized users.
