DESCRIPTION

A Canadian agency in British Columbia is seeking a vendor to provide an Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Management Platform for its Security & Risk Management department. The platform will include comprehensive services such as platform licensing, implementation, training, and ongoing support and maintenance.

The main objective is to implement a centralized digital platform to facilitate the management of OHS activities, including incident reporting, inspections, audits, chemical management, and training compliance. The solution should enable organization-wide access for unlimited users with configurable role-based access for different user groups like administrators, staff, students, and other authorized users. Key functional requirements include robust incident, inspection, and audit management capabilities; tools for reporting incidents and hazards; tracking investigations through resolution; and managing inspection reports and audits across facilities, equipment, and safety practices.

Workflow and form management features must allow for customized digital forms, workflows (including conditional logic), and specific configurations for central OHS processes such as incident management and compliance tracking. Additionally, the platform must provide access to a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) database with at least 40,000 records, support searching and storing SDS records, and ensure SDS information is kept current through integrations with manufacturers or authoritative sources. The contract period will be for one year.
