The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is seeking qualified small businesses to provide comprehensive marketing, communication, and advertising services in support of its vehicle safety programs and public education initiatives. This effort aims to support the New Car Assessment Program (NCAP), Office of Defects Investigation (ODI), and Office of Vehicle Safety Research (OVSR), enabling safety-conscious consumers to make informed decisions regarding vehicle purchases and maintenance to ensure continued safety.
Eligible businesses include Small Business (SB), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), 8(a) Certified SDB, Historically Underutilized Business Zone Small Business (HUBZone SB), Service–Disabled–Veteran–Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), or Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) entities with relevant experience and proven capabilities. Interested firms are invited to submit documentation demonstrating their expertise in delivering timely, efficient, and effective media services aligned with NHTSA’s mission to save lives, prevent injuries, and minimize traffic-related costs through education, safety standards, research, and enforcement.
NHTSA emphasizes the importance of expertise in vehicle safety communications and past performance in the relevant NAICS code. This initiative presents an opportunity for small businesses to contribute to national safety efforts through robust outreach and educational campaigns.
