This project seeks a qualified vendor to remove and replace the existing nurse call and Code Blue systems within a healthcare facility. The selected contractor will be responsible for the design, delivery, installation, cabling verification, power requirement verification, and complete programming of the new nurse call system and associated software.
The new system must maintain comprehensive call records to facilitate historical report generation and review. It will feature dual patient stations, remote enunciation points located in the telephone operator room, police dispatch, and other always-staffed locations. The system software must support staff assignments for room-specific call forwarding and escalate calls as necessary. Integration with clinical phone systems such as Vocera, a reset/cancel button with an active visual indicator, and compatibility with various medical equipment is required.
Additional requirements include a VoIP Nurse Call Master Console at the nurse station, enhanced pillow speakers for patient rooms, and bathroom pull cord stations complete with audio (speaker and microphone). The manufacturer must have at least two separate vendors or office locations within a 150-mile radius of the facility to ensure 24/7 emergency repair capability.
