The Defense Health Agency (DHA) has issued a notice of intent to award a sole source contract to the San Antonio Marriott Northwest for hosting the Assistant Director, Resources and Personnel Integration (AD R&PI) Sponsored Defense Center for Financial Management (DCFM) Accounting Training. The contract is intended to provide conference rooms and audiovisual support for the event, utilizing a Firm–Fixed Price arrangement. This procurement falls under NAICS Code 721110 for hotels (except casino hotels) and motels, with a size standard of $40 million.
The contract will be executed using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, in conjunction with FAR Part 12 for commercial products and services. The Government has determined that only one responsible source, the San Antonio Marriott Northwest, can fulfill the requirement. Interested parties are invited to submit their interest and capability within 15 days of the notice to demonstrate if competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses should provide clear and convincing evidence of their capability to meet DHA's requirements.
