A government authority in Lyndon Center, Vermont is seeking a vendor to provide nonprofit school food service. The selected contractor will be responsible for delivering nutritious, high-quality meals to students and participants in the National School Lunch Program, including accommodations for special diets where medically necessary.
The food service program is intended to improve the nutritional quality of meals while remaining financially viable. The contractor is expected to provide an appealing and nutritionally sound meal program as economically as possible, increase participation by improving meal quality, gathering student and parent input, offering menu variations, and strengthening planning efforts. The program should also maintain reasonable prices for both students and adults.
A pre-bid conference is scheduled for May 28, 2026, and all questions must be submitted by May 22, 2026. The contract term will be one year.
