Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The organization is seeking a vendor to provide a next-generation transit fare collection system designed to modernize fare payment and collection processes. The system must include advanced fareboxes capable of handling various payment options, including cash, coin, magnetic media, smart cards, paper media, credit/debit cards, NFC, RFID, and both open-loop and closed-loop payments, along with other readily deployable fare payment media.
The solution should feature full integration with Vontas, Trapeze, and TransTrack CAD/AVL systems and be scalable to support up to 200 vehicles. A cloud-based SaaS architecture is required, with capabilities for real-time monitoring, diagnostics, and consolidated reporting of fare, ridership, and transaction data. The system must support historical data migration from existing fare management systems such as Genfare and Masabi.
Additional requirements include robust interoperability via APIs, exportable data formats, and a user application compatible with Google and Apple devices. The comprehensive solution should streamline the agency’s fare management, improve efficiencies, and provide seamless integration with current and legacy transit technologies.
