Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The agency seeks information from vendors for implementing a next-generation transit fare collection system. The focus is on modernizing farebox hardware, ticket vending machines (TVMs), mobile ticketing capabilities, vaulting systems, and electronic payment processing, complemented by robust data management and a cloud-based back-office platform. Solutions must address operational efficiency, accessibility, cybersecurity, and comprehensive reporting needs.
The project aims to replace aging TVMs with modern units that accommodate cash, coin, credit/debit cards, and smart cards, and that can issue both magnetic and paper media. Additional upgrades include vaulting and probing systems, and consolidation of all fare and ridership data through a unified, cloud-based platform. The new system must enable seamless integration with Vontas, Trapeze, and TransTrack CAD/AVL systems to ensure operational continuity and enhanced service delivery.
