Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
This RFP seeks a qualified vendor to provide, configure, and implement a next-generation firewall (NGFW) hardware and software solution, including network access control (NAC) services, for a business network environment. The chosen solution must enhance cybersecurity, increase network visibility, and bolster threat prevention, with comprehensive hardware, configuration, implementation, and ongoing support.
The scope includes reviewing the current network architecture and security posture, identifying risks and gaps, and delivering all required software, licensing, configuration, implementation, testing, documentation, training, and support for a fully functional NGFW/NAC system. The solution must support up to 1,000 endpoint devices authenticating with Windows Active Directory via 802.1X or similar, plus secure onboarding for off-domain devices through a user-facing login portal.
Key requirements include advanced threat prevention features such as IPS, malware analysis, and AI/ML-powered detection; development of a thorough implementation and migration plan; and provision of equipment equal to or better than Next-Generation Palo Alto PA-1410 series firewalls. Specifications call for minimum firewall throughput of 8 Gbps, 6 Gbps threat prevention throughput, required SFP+ and copper ports, redundant power supplies, rack mounting hardware, and 24x7 hardware and software support. The contract period will span three years and include subscriptions for threat intelligence, cloud-delivered security, and advanced malware sandboxing.
