A government authority in Mankato, Minnesota is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive newspaper printing and delivery services for Minnesota State University, Mankato's student newspaper, 'The Reporter.' The selected vendor will be responsible for printing the newspaper and delivering copies to a designated drop site on campus, specifically the Reporter Office in the Centennial Student Union (CSU 293). A loading dock is accessible for short-term parking during delivery.
The publication schedule is subject to change, and The Reporter reserves the right to reduce to a single weekly issue during the academic year with a 30-day notice. Special sections, including the Housing Guide (8.25" x 10.75", stapled supplement), are part of the production requirements. Only tabloid-sized publications will be accepted, with specifications for image area and page size, and the use of 30 lb newsprint is mandatory.
Files for printing will be provided by the Reporter Office by 4:00 AM, and the finished newspapers must be delivered no later than 8:30 AM on the day of production. The contract will cover a one-year period.
