This RFP seeks a vendor to provide a comprehensive maintenance agreement for a network server supporting subscriber and dependent coverage for claims processing and status for Medicare and Private insurance payers. The server supports patient access functions, including verifying commercial and government payer information, which enables faster reimbursement and identification of additional billable insurance coverage.
The vendor will be responsible for electronic claim submissions to Medicare, Medicaid, Veteran Administration, and Private Insurance, as well as generating reports for electronic claims, tracking insurance rejection sessions, running denial reports, correcting claims, obtaining denial reasons, and resubmitting to payers. The network server must also allow secure connections to Medicare Direct Data Entry (DDE), support multiple submitted IDs, give full visibility into Medicare claim submissions, provide online claim correction capabilities, verify Medicare eligibility, and include built-in EDI tracking.
All services are to be provided to a government authority in Rockville, Maryland.
