The government authority in Juneau, Wisconsin seeks qualified vendors to perform a comprehensive network infrastructure refresh. The project will involve replacing existing network switches with modern, supported hardware to enhance overall network performance, reliability, security, and manageability.
Scope of work includes the planning, configuration, installation, testing, and documentation of the new network equipment. Vendors are expected to apply standardized base configurations, set up VLANs, trunks, routing, and management settings, and implement security hardening measures such as SSH, SNMP, and AAA. Additional requirements include updating firmware, identifying and labeling all new equipment and uplink ports, performing pre-deployment testing, and backing up existing switch configurations. The work also entails removing and replacing legacy switches as well as patching network connections with new cabling.
A mandatory site visit is scheduled for April 23, 2026. All vendor questions must be submitted by April 30, 2026.
