DESCRIPTION

A government authority in Morrisville, North Carolina seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive network infrastructure and fiber-based internet services. The required services include a minimum bandwidth capacity of 1 Gbps symmetrical for current and future sites, with redundancy and failover measures such as fiber route diversity to avoid single points of failure. Dual-homed connectivity is required, where the secondary connection must deliver at least half the primary bandwidth.

Vendors must offer 24/7 access to a Network Operations Center (NOC) with direct escalation contacts, as well as a portal for circuit utilization reports, ticket management, and billing. The scope also includes proactive monitoring, with notifications for outages, bandwidth saturation, or latency spikes. A managed SD-WAN solution must be provided that supports static and dynamic routing protocols (BGP/OSPF), Layer 3 VPN, and quality of service (QoS) management for prioritizing VoIP, D365, and Teams traffic.
