The government authority in Springfield, Missouri is seeking a qualified vendor to provide network data drop installation services. The scope includes installing data, phone, IP camera, and intercom classroom module or console phone cabling. Each contractor must have at least one BICSI Level II installer on staff, who must be present during installation and testing. Proper credentials must be provided at the bid opening.
The work involves installing one 12-strand interlocking armored 50/125um OM4 multimode optical fiber cable for data backbone cabling, and a 25-pair copper cable for phone backbone cabling, between each Main Distribution Frame (MDF) and Intermediate Distribution Frame (IDF) room. Monument sign installations require a 2-inch conduit with a six-strand indoor/outdoor OM4 fiber cable running from the MDF to the sign slab. Installers must adhere to minimum bend radius requirements to prevent increased attenuation or fiber breakage. Inquiries about the project should be submitted by April 13, 2026.
