Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The agency seeks a vendor to develop and execute a comprehensive national media and thought leadership strategy that positions the organization as a leader in innovation, access, and community impact. The selected vendor will be responsible for both the strategic planning phase and, potentially, the implementation phase, ensuring that all recommendations are actionable, practical, and sustainable for the agency's internal marketing and communications team.
Responsibilities include creating a compelling narrative framework that connects agency capital investments, brand evolution, and strategic priorities into a unified story. The vendor will identify three to five core story platforms supported by demonstrable outcomes, customer stories, and proof points. The scope also involves conducting a national media landscape assessment, identifying high-priority media outlets, journalists, and platforms that align with the agency's story and objectives.
In the execution phase, the vendor will support national media outreach and thought leadership initiatives by developing media materials, such as pitch narratives, press materials, and contributed content. Proactive outreach to target media outlets and journalists is expected, as well as the refinement of messaging frameworks and provision of periodized target media lists.
