DESCRIPTION
The government authority in Virginia is seeking a vendor to provide support services for its municipal fiber network operations center. The city has established an extensive city-owned fiber plant, enabling geo-diverse connectivity between all core nodes and most service locations without reliance on commercial provider circuits or leased fiber. The entire ITS network, including core and distribution layer network systems, is owned and managed by the city.
The network infrastructure comprises six core or distribution nodes, each equipped with redundant network system hardware and interconnected by a full mesh physical topology.
