The selected vendor will be responsible for secure and reliable banking operations, which should include robust treasury technology and reporting tools, strong fraud prevention measures, advanced cybersecurity protocols, and dedicated support for public-sector accounts. Competitive fee and earnings structures are also required.
Key service components include the provision and management of account structure and collateralization, wire and ACH services, deposits and collections, remote deposit capture (RDC), courier or transport services for financial documents, an online banking and treasury portal, and systems for electronic records and archiving. Additional requirements consist of positive pay and payee positive pay services, stop payment services, and well-developed business continuity and incident response plans. Vendors will need to submit a comprehensive profile outlining annual deposit volume, number of accounts, check and wire volumes, payroll processing, and other relevant transaction metrics.
