The City of Ohio is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive multimodal engagement and planning services. This initiative focuses on transportation planning, public engagement, and general engineering to assess and redesign selected corridors or neighborhood streets to better address current mobility demands.
Key services include the development and execution of a public engagement process, which involves creating a public engagement plan, organizing engagement events, gathering and analyzing community input, and producing public engagement reports. The project also encompasses alternatives analysis for shared mobility and transit accommodations, such as bike and shared mobility lanes, premium transit options, and on-street parking assessments. Vendors are expected to develop a strategic communications plan, community and stakeholder engagement processes, and a variety of promotional and engagement materials as part of their scope.
Further, the services may extend to public art planning, including integrating artwork into safety infrastructure, wayfinding elements, and placemaking initiatives. The project may also involve quick-build concepts, such as demonstration and pilot projects aimed at accelerated implementation and interim design solutions.
