Modification to the Business Applications Solution Contract

The United States Department of Commerce intends to negotiate a sole-source modification to an existing Business Applications Solution contract with Accenture Federal Services. The modification would provide additional post-go-live Hypercare, embedded resource support, transactional backlog resolution, formal Hypercare certification, and enhancements to advance the solution from a minimum viable product to enterprise optimization.

The additional scope would also include organizational change management activities supporting user adoption and long-term sustainability, as well as additional licenses and related operations and maintenance services. The Department states that the existing contractor is uniquely qualified because it configured and implemented the system and possesses the knowledge required to provide immediate post-go-live support. Additional licenses and associated operations and maintenance services are considered integral to the existing hosted environment to ensure seamless configuration, access, and support.

This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, and no solicitation package is available. Firms that believe they can fully satisfy the Government's requirements may submit written substantiating documentation or requests for additional information within 15 days of publication. Responses will be evaluated solely to determine whether the procurement should be conducted competitively; oral communications are not acceptable.
