The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), is seeking information from vendors who can provide a modernized, enterprise-level Electronic Freedom of Information Act (eFOIA) SaaS solution. This Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought is issued for planning purposes and is not a solicitation or commitment to purchase. Respondents are invited to review the attached Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) outlining the core requirements and are encouraged to submit comments or suggestions.
Interested companies should provide a capability statement that demonstrates their ability to meet the requirements specified in the Draft PWS, including technical approach, company background, socioeconomic status, relevant contract credentials, and compliance with regulations such as VAAR and FedRAMP. Parties should clarify whether their solution is proprietary or open source and provide Authority to Operate (ATO) details. Responses should also include a high-level pricing estimate and indicate whether the fulfillment will be accomplished by the prime contractor or through partnerships or subcontracting. The information gathered through this RFI will be used by the VA solely for planning and strategy development.
