Illinois is seeking a vendor to provide a mobile Automated License Plate Recognition (ALPR) system designed for parking enforcement. The solution should include a vehicle-mounted ALPR system that automates parking enforcement activities and enhances operational efficiency. An integrated back-end management platform is required to manage enforcement tasks and data.
The system must offer compatibility and seamless two-way data exchange with the agency’s current parking management vendor, ParkMobile, and other industry-standard parking and permit management systems. Features should include a mobile or web-based application for field staff to view, issue, and manage enforcement actions, as well as digital chalking and permit verification. Additionally, comprehensive reporting, analytics, real-time communication, and clear data access and ownership protocols are required. Vendors are expected to meet these functional and technical requirements to support the agency’s modern parking enforcement operations.
