A government authority in Hampton, VA is seeking information from vendors regarding a mission video distribution system designed to support military operations. The system should provide comprehensive enterprise video services, including the ingestion, processing, dissemination, archiving, and retrieval of multiple sensor sources and full motion video feeds. These capabilities are necessary to support operations across the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).
Vendors are expected to provide engineering and technical support to the agency within the 9AF (AFCENT) enterprise. This includes deploying Field Service Representatives (FSRs) to maximize system operations at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina, and Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. Additionally, the selected team will be responsible for technical support, systems engineering, software development, and system testing from the contractor's site to ensure continuous and effective operation of the Mission Video Distribution System (MVDS).
The agency requires integration, adaptation, and engineering of diverse video streams for a variety of systems and transport mechanisms. The proposed solution should be end-to-end, covering everything from the user's desktop to backend infrastructure, and should encompass presentation, application, network product support, hardware solutions, and storage virtualization. The aim is to provide reliable and secure enterprise video services for users on a global scale.
