Provide all necessary labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials, transportation, and expertise for minor construction and repair services.
Submit a written scope of work and detailed cost estimates for County review and approval.
Obtain written consent or a valid Purchase Order from the County before starting any project.
Coordinate with County Facilities Management and designated representatives.
Conduct all work professionally, protecting County property and assets.
Perform quality assurance inspections to ensure compliance with specifications, schedule, and budget.
Promptly correct any identified deficiencies at no additional cost.
Possess all required licenses for the tasks outlined in the RFPQ.
Comply substantially with the RFPQ content and format.
Be prepared to provide current financial statements (balance sheets, profit and loss for the last two fiscal years) upon request.
Provide at least three current customer references for similar services within the past 12 months.
Identify key personnel (management staff, supervisors, primary points of contact) and describe their responsibilities.
Ensure all personnel performing work pass a background check.
Comply with South Carolina laws requiring authorization and licensing to do business in the state.
Comply with the South Carolina Drug-Free Workplace Act.
Comply with the South Carolina Illegal Immigration Reform Act (verify new employees or employ qualifying workers).
Maintain statutory Workers' Compensation insurance.
Maintain Commercial General Liability insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000 per occurrence.
Maintain Professional Liability insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000/$2,000,000 per occurrence.
Maintain Automobile Liability insurance with a minimum of $600,000 Combined.
Name the County, its officials, employees, and volunteers as additional insureds on Automobile and General Liability policies.
Submit insurance certificates and endorsements for approval within 10 days of award notification.
Include all subcontractors as insureds under policies or provide separate certificates for them.
Submit a Proposal Bond of 5% of the total Proposal amount (or certified check) with the solicitation response.
Be prepared to provide a Performance Bond of 100% of the contract amount for contracts $50,000 or more, if required.
Be prepared to provide a Payment Bond of 100% of the contract amount for contracts $50,000 or more if subcontractors are utilized, if required.
Upload responses to the Lexington County E-Procurement System, with each file not exceeding 50 MB.
Complete and submit all forms included in the RFPQ.
If a corporation, the proposal must be signed by a duly authorized officer, state the chartering state, and confirm authorization to do business in South Carolina.
If a partnership, the proposal must be signed by a general partner or authorized person, showing official capacity and authority.
If an individual or sole proprietorship, the proposal must be signed by the individual, stating the name or style of business.
