DESCRIPTION
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 23, plans to award a sole source contract to Applied Spectral Imaging Inc. for the upgrade of FISH workstation software at the Minneapolis VA Healthcare System. Under the authority of FAR 6.103–1 and FAR Overhaul 12.102(a), it has been determined that only Applied Spectral Imaging Inc. can satisfy the agency's requirements for this supply/service.
This notice is intended to communicate the intent to award and is not a solicitation for competitive quotations. Interested parties who believe they can meet the agency's requirements are invited to submit a capabilities statement by March 25, 2026, at 16:00 MT, providing clear evidence of their ability to perform the required services. All determinations regarding the potential to compete this proposed contract will be at the sole discretion of the Government.
If no viable responses are received by the deadline, the Department of Veterans Affairs will proceed to negotiate solely with Applied Spectral Imaging Inc.
