The selected vendor will provide a microwave-based applications solution designed to support temperature and humidity soundings in both cloud-covered and clear-sky conditions. Responsibilities include the development and control of instrument flight software, in accordance with the established instrument software development plan, covering software developed by the contractor or any third parties involved.
The contractor will be required to document and maintain detailed designs for Instrument GSE/STE software and to develop, update, and maintain the instrument flight software, simulators, related documentation, and the full suite of development environments, emulators, and test software necessary for the comprehensive development and verification of these systems. Additionally, the scope encompasses the development of software development and validation tools, as well as the qualification and maintenance of the instrument flight software throughout the contract period.
