Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.

DESCRIPTION

The agency seeks a vendor to provide a comprehensive microtransit system, including digital and telephonic booking options. The solution must feature a smartphone app compatible with the latest three major iOS and Android versions, supporting trip reservations, modifications, and cancellations. For riders without smartphone access, the system should offer an effective call center or comparable phone-based booking option. Automated ride-status notifications—delivered via call, text, or push—should inform customers of vehicle arrival times, provide reminders, and offer follow-up for missed pickups.

The platform should include dispatch and routing capabilities that process all booking requests from both the app and call center, validate trip origins and destinations within the service area, facilitate routing around obstacles like road closures and construction, and redirect riders to fixed transit routes if within 0.15 miles. Additional features include a post-trip interface for customer feedback and survey collection.

Integration with fixed-route services is required, with logic prioritizing connections to these routes when practical. The dashboard functionality should communicate service area limitations, suggest alternatives for out-of-area requests, and handle fixed-route proximity notifications. The initial contract period is for one year.
