Comply with Broward County's Domestic Partnership Act for contracts over $100,000, or qualify for an exception

Ensure contractor personnel wear distinctive and neat uniforms with the company name
Comply with specific security requirements for Port Everglades locations, including obtaining permanent identification badges and Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC)
Comply with Airport Security Program and Federal Aviation Regulations, including background checks for SIDA access and vehicle identification permits for the AOA
Adhere to Water and Wastewater Services (WWS) security requirements, including obtaining WWS ID badges/access cards/keys
Perform criminal background screening for personnel working on County Park Property, prohibiting individuals with disqualifying offenses
Submit monthly Declaration of Criminal Background Screening for Parks and Recreation personnel
Disclose all 'material' cases (litigation, arbitration, administrative proceedings) from the last three years involving the Vendor, its parent, subsidiary, predecessor, or principals
Disclose any litigation history between the County and the Vendor's proposed subcontractors/subconsultants from the last five years
To be eligible for Local Preference, continuously maintain a physical business address in Broward County for at least one year preceding the bid posting date, with a valid local business tax receipt
To be eligible for Locally Based Business preference, meet Local Business criteria and have the primary business address for the majority of employees/work in Broward County, with management directing day-to-day activities from there, and less than 50% equity owned by entities outside Broward County

The initial contract period will start on October 31st, 2026, or upon the date of award, whichever is later, and will terminate three years from that date. The total contract period, including any renewals, shall not exceed five years.
